Pnimiyut's First Year / Bachelor Program
The first year program provides for in-depth learning of Chassidus and its implication on everyday life. The approach of our classes varies from deeply mystical to highly practical.
Many of our classes are accredited at a number of universities and colleges in the US, in Canada, in France etc, thus students can carry on their credits earned at Pnimiyut.
Beyond the full schedule of daily studies, our school initiated an abundance of extra-curricular activities as well. This means, that besides in-depth studies of the Torah, Chassudus, Tanya, Halacha, Concepts of Judaism, Bais Yechudi etc., the students practice shlichus in kindergartens, get to know Eretz Israel through trips around the country, they learn Jewish history and Israel advocacy, they get involved in volunteer programs, enroll in art and drama activities, in a book club, sports etc.
Beyond the above mentioned activities our students experience a year of growth and improvement of self-awareness. Our school has a friendly, family-like environment, it is a home away from home. Our coaches provide for individual guiding and help tailored on the personality of each of the students.

Extra-curricular activities
Students have a variety of optional and compulsory extra-curricular activities as part of their program.
Besides having a class on Shlichut, students go and practice Shilchut on a weekly basis. They go to kindergartens to teach and to assist the teachers and gain real educational experience.
The Seminary has an ongoing partnership with The David Project: students are taught Israel Advocacy and learn how to defend their point of view in a debate on Zionism. They study the History of Israel from early on until these days.
In partnership with families and organizations of the local community, students are involved in Volunteer Programs. According to their personality they can be active in teaching, taking care of the elderly or taking care of children. Most of these families are non-chabad, thus the volunteer creates a bridge between communities and has a chance to give chassidic insights to the non-involved.
With the title "Breaking Free" this year the Seminary presented its 5th drama production. Every year students can enroll in the Art & Drama Club, contributing whatever skills they have: acting, dancing, singing, playing an instrument, drawing, textil-designing etc.
Within our premises we have an extended Public Jewish Library, with a collection of books on Yiddishkeit and Chassidut. The collection expands from deeply mystical to highly practical. Every year students create a Book Club to give special frame for the sharing of their reading experiences.
The Seminary has developed an Individual Growth and Reward Program. The students are collecting points for their mitzvot and Yiddishkeit and those with the highest are rewarded by a special trip, event or gift. This year the awarded visited the Spa Ivria, or the Blind Museum in Holon. This program culminates by the end of the semesters: Among the monthly winners on Chov Bet Shvat a plane ticket to New York will be ruffled! By the end of the second semester a lap-top will be ruffled out to one of the winners.
The students are tested in written every week on material that they have to study on their own. The topic of the Bekiyus are Chumash, Halacha and Chassidus.
